Semiconductor is a material that has an electrical resistivity between the extremes of a conductor and an insulator.


It was a long time ago when the first transistor was discovered or introduced on December 23rd, 1947. But before it was discovered, tubes was popular years ago. Because of our determination to discover for more advance technology, we crossed for more advance technology, we crossed our limits.


People doesn't limit their knowledge for more advance, they didn't just concentrate in one area.


The components nowadays becomes smaller and powerful. Who knows maybe the next days we can't even touch it with our bear hands.


It has a lot of function. It can perform as a vacuum tube that is more powerful. The integrated IC (microchip) which have millions of resistor, transistor and capacitor that made up of our devices today.


I will assist you to have a basic understanding about it, the components and their functions.
