Communication Systems refers
to the collection of different communictaion netwroks, transmission
systems and others that delivers information through a medium.
The primary function of communication system is to transfer information
from one point to another.
Elements of communication
systems:
- TRANSMITTER
- A device that transmits signal
- process the input signal to produce a transmitted signal
suited to the characteristics of the transmission channel.
2. TRANSMISSION CHANNEL
- A medium that uses to send information from the source to
destination.
- It maybe use in the form of wires , coaxial cable or fiber
optic.
- In the process of transmitting data through a
transmission channel it can experience transmission loss or
attenuation.
3. RECEIVER
- The one who operates the ouput signal from the medium or
channel for the delivery to the transducer at the destination.
Receiver operation
include:
- amplification
- demodulation
- decoding
- filtering
