MONITOR

•  monitor display information in your computer. It is the screen in your computer that shows images (graphics and text). Read more about monitor

• system unit  is the main PARTS OF COMPUTER. It consist of many components like motherboard, power supply, hard drives, ram and the most important is the ”CPU”(central processing unit) or microprocessor, acts as the brain of the computer. All of these connect to each other to process information.

HARD DISK DRIVES

• hard disk  stores information in your computer. It’s the primary storage of your data in the computer.

CD & DVD

• CD is a optical disc that use to store data. CD’s typically holds up to 700MB or 80 minutes of audio.

• DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) is also a optical disc that store media format. It can hold a large space to store your data like text, video and audio. It has several capacity like the 4.7GB (single-sided, single layer), 8.54GB (single-sided, double layer), 9.4GB (double sided, single layer) and 17.08GB (rare double sided, double layer) 

FLOPPY DISK DRIVES

•  floppy disk drives stores your data in a floppy disks, known as diskettes. Not like the CD and DVD, the diskettes can save a small amount of data. 

•  mouse  is a common pointing device that senses its movement across a flat surface and transmits that information to the computer, typically to control the position of a cursor or pointer. A mouse is usually equipped with 1-3 buttons that also send signals to the computer.

• Keyboard  is an input device based on the standard QWERTY typewriter configuration. Computer keyboards typically have more keys and features than typewriters, but work in much the same way.

• Printer, parts of computer that provides a hard copy of information or documents stored in your computer. Nowadays, printer has a memory sticks, image captures devices and some printers combined with scanner, copier and a fax machine. 

•  Modem  is one of the PARTS OF COMPUTER that used to convert serial digital data from a transmitting terminal to a signal suitable for a transmission over a telephone channel, or to re-convert the transmitted signal to serial digital for acceptance by a receiving terminal.

•  Speakers  are external speakers and are usually equipped with-end phone plug for computer sound cards; however, there are some that have female RCA plug ports, and some people link computer sound cards to nearby stereo systems. ComputerSpeakers are usually a simplified stereo system without a radio or other media sources built in.
